The Ringling International Arts Festival is the result of a unique partnership between The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and the Baryshnikov Arts Center, where more than 100 artists from the United States, Australia, Canada, England, Israel, Scotland and Spain will come together this fall to share the rich diversity of ideas and forms at play in the world.
Your packaged festival pass includes the following performances:
- October 8, 5:30 p.m. - Meow, Meow -- Beyond Glamour: The Asinthe Tour -- International singing sensation who's been packing the Sydney Opera House
- October 9, 8:00 p.m. - Deganit Shemy & Company, New York based dance company performing "Arena" -- this piece was commissioned for the Ringling Arts Festival and choreographed by Israeli Deganit Shemy
- October 10, 8:00 p.m. - U.S. Premiere "Love is my Sin, directed by Peter Brook and featuring world stars Bruce Myers and Natasha Parry
- October 11, 2:00 p.m. - Ella Hickson's "Eight"; this play swept the awards at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Eight's cast will include actors from the U.K. and the F.S.U./Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training
